Problem 88P

A stationary water tank of diameter D is mounted on lgs and is placed on a nearly frictionless level surface. W smooth hole of diameter Do near the bottom of the tank later to jet horizontally and rearward and the water force propels the system forward. The water in the tank is Javier than the tank-and-wheel assembly, so only the c nf water remaining in the tank needs to be considered this problem. Considering the decrease in the mass of 1,1 ter with time, develop relations for (a) the acceleration,(b) the velocity, and (c) the distance traveled by the system as a function of time.
