  • Before answering we must know the meaning of lagrangian and eulerian measurement.

  • If we can describe the entire flow of a liquid by knowing the detailed history of each constituent particle of the liquid, then it’s called lagrangian measurement.

  • Here we need to know the initial conditions as coordinates, momenta and densities.

  • In eulerian measurement, rather than following each fluid particle we concentrate more on the evolution of the flow properties at each point of coordinates and time.

  • It’s hard to apply the conservation laws here but mathematically it’s much simpler.
