Chapter 5, Problem 5.60

(choose chapter or problem)

(II) A particle starting from rest revolves with uniformlyincreasing speed in a clockwise circle in the xy plane. Thecenter of the circle is at the origin of an xy coordinatesystem. A t t = 0, the particle is at x = 0.0, y = 2.0 m. Att = 2.0 s, it has made one-quarter of a revolution and is atx = 2.0 m, y = 0.0. Determine (a) its speed at t = 2.0 s,(b) the average velocity vector, and (c) the average accelerationvector during this interval.
