Show that the velocity v of any point in an object rotatingwith angular velocity dt about a fixed axis can be writtenv = w X rwhere r is the position vector of the point relative to anorigin O located on the axis of rotation. Can O be anywhereon the rotation axis? Will v = a> X r if O is located at apoint not on the axis of rotation?
