(choose chapter or problem)

The National Opinion Research Center polled a sample of 92 people aged 18–22 in the year 2002, asking them how many hours per week they spent on the internet. The sample mean was 7.38, with a sample standard deviation of 12.83. A second sample of 123 people aged 18–22 was taken in the year 2004. For this sample, the mean was 8.20 with a standard deviation of 9.84. Can you conclude that the mean number of hours per week increased between 2002 and 2004?
