Chapter 3, Problem 3.122

(choose chapter or problem)

Argon contained in a closed, rigid tank, initially at \(50^{\circ} \mathrm{C}\), 2 bar, and a volume of \(2 \mathrm{~m}^{3}\), is heated to a final pressure of 8 bar. Assuming the ideal gas model with k = 1.67 for the argon, determine the final temperature, in \({ }^{\circ} \mathrm{C}\), and the heat transfer, in kJ.
