Three kilograms of nitrogen (N2) initially at 478C and 2

Chapter 7, Problem 7.33

(choose chapter or problem)

Three kilograms of nitrogen (\(N_{2}\)) initially at 47\(^{\circ}\)C and 2 bar is contained within a rigid, insulated tank. The nitrogen is stirred by a paddle wheel until its pressure doubles. Employing the ideal gas model with constant specific heat evaluated at 300 K, determine the work and exergy destruction for the nitrogen, each in kJ. Ignore the effects of motion and gravity and let \(T_{0}\) = 300 K, \(p_{0}\) = 1 bar
