Chapter 9, Problem 9.29

(choose chapter or problem)

At the beginning of the compression process of an air- standard Diesel cycle, \(p_{1}=95 \mathrm{kPa} \text { and } T_{1}=300 \mathrm{~K}\). The maximum temperature is 1800 K and the mass of air is 12 g. For compression ratios of 15, 18, and 21, determine the net work developed, in kJ, the thermal efficiency, and the mean effective pressure, in kPa.
