Methane expands isothermally and without irreversibilities

Chapter 11, Problem 11.116

(choose chapter or problem)

Methane expands isothermally and without irreversibilities through a turbine operating at steady state, entering at 60 atm, \(77^{\circ} \mathrm{F}\) and exiting at 1 atm. Using data from the generalized fugacity chart, determine the work developed, in Btu per lb of methane flowing. Ignore kinetic and potential energy effects.
