Figure 2333shows a current-carrying wire and a circuit containing a resistor R. (a) If the current in the wire is constant, is the induced current in the circuit clockwise, counterclockwise, or zero? Explain. (b) If the current in the wire increases, is the induced current in the circuit clockwise, counterclockwise, or zero? Explain.
