Problem 1PE

Converting between Kc and Kp

For the Haber process,

N2(g) + 3 H2(g) ⇌ 2 NH3(g)

Kc = 9.60 at 300 °C. Calculate Kp for this reaction at this temperature.

(a) N2(g) + O2(g) ⇌  2 NO(g), (b) CaCO3(s) + CO2(g), (c) Ni(CO)4(g) ⇌  Ni(s) + 4 CO(g), (d) C(s) + 2 H2(g)  CH4(g)
