A basketball player dribbling down the court usually keeps his eyes fixed on the players around him. He is moving fast. Why doesn’t he need to keep his eyes on the ball?
Step 1 of 1:
A basketball player always keeps his eyes on the other players around him instead of looking at the ball while dribbling down the court. When the basketball player gets the ball and dribbles, the relative speed of the ball and the player is equal. The reference frame is also the same. By proper practice, it’s not necessary for a good player to look at the ball.
