Consider a car is pushed by a woman in the positive x-direction and the car accelerates at a particular rate and moves along the same direction. The acceleration produced by the woman is considered to be aw. The same car is now pushed by a man in the same direction. But the force exerted on the car is not same that of the woman since the man can able to give greater force. So that the car can move with higher acceleration (am). Now come to the conclusion, the same car is applied different net forces and produced different acceleration. The net forces acting on the both cases may include the gravity and the frictional forces.
