Chapter 6, Problem 62

(choose chapter or problem)

A calorie-free milkshake? Suppose a cylindrical glass with a diameter of 1 12 m and a height of 1 10 m is filled to the brim with a 400-Cal milkshake. If you have a straw that is 1.1 m long (so the top of the straw is 1 m above the top of the glass), do you burn off all the calories in the milkshake in drinking it? Assume that the density of the milkshake is 1 g>cm3 11 Cal = 4184 J2.
