Constant volume cones Suppose the radius of a right circular cone increases as r1t2 = ta and the height decreases as h1t2 = t-b, for t 1, where a and b are positive constants. What is the relationship between a and b such that the volume of the cone remains constant (that is, V_1t2 = 0, where V = 1p>32r2h)?
