Now solved: In each of 13 through 21, determine whether the matrix is unitary

Chapter 9, Problem 9.60

(choose chapter or problem)

In each of 13 through 21, determine whether the matrix is unitary, hermitian, skew-hermitian, or none of these. Find the eigenvalues and associated eigenvectors. If the matrix is diagonalizable, write a matrix that diagonalizes it. In 5 and 7, eigenvalues must be approximated, so only approximate eigenvectors" can be found. It is instructive to try to diagonalize a matrix using approximate eigenvectors. 3i 0 0 100 i 0 0
