The equivalent resistance in series combination is,

Rs  =  R1+  R2 + R3 +....+  Rn

            =  nR

      = (10)(275Ω )

      =  2750Ω

b)

he equivalent resistance in parallel combination is

1/Rp  = 1 / R1 + 1 / R2  +  1 / R3  + ,,,,,+ 1 / R3n

1/Rp   =  10/ 275Ω

         =  275Ω / 10

        =27.5 Ω

the equivalent resistance in parallel combination is 27.5 Ω
