Use algebra to show that the time it takes for a quantity growing exponentially to double is independent of the starting quantity and the time. To do this, let represent the time it takes for to double. Show that if becomes 2 at time +, then depends only on the growth factor , but not on the starting quantity and time . (Assume 0.)
