Problem 4QQ

ANSWER:

Solution 4QQ:

Step 1 of 2:-

Here we have to explain what would happen if the sun suddenly became a black hole without changing its mass.

First of all we should know that, gravitational force  depends only upon the mass. So, if the sun suddenly becomes a black hole with the same mass, its gravitational pull will be the same.

Only difference is, you can go much closer to the black hole but incase of sun you cannot.

The same mass is concentrated in a smaller volume now. The size gets reduced enormously and you can go much closer to the surface or the event horizon of the black hole.
