(Ill) You are trying to determine an unknown amount ofcharge using only a voltmeter and a ruler, knowing that it iseither a single sheet of charge or a point charge that iscreating it. You determine the direction of greatest changeof potential, and then measure potentials along a line in thatdirection. The potential versus position (note that the zeroof position is arbitrary, and the potential is measured relativeto ground) is measured as follows:x (cm) 0.0 1.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0 7.0 8.0 9.0V (volts) 3.9 3.0 2.5 2.0 1.7 1.5 1.4 1.4 1.2 1.1(a) Graph V versus position. Do you think the field iscaused by a sheet or a point charge? (b) Graph the data insuch a way that you can determine the magnitude of thecharge and determine that value, (c) Is it possible todetermine where the charge is from this data? If so, give theposition of the charge.
