(choose chapter or problem)

(II) The powerful laser used in a laser light show provides a3-mm diameter beam of green light with a power of 3 W.When a space-walking astronaut is outside the SpaceShuttle, her colleague inside the Shuttle playfully aims sucha laser beam at the astronauts space suit. The masses of thesuited astronaut and the Space Shuttle are 120 kg and103,000 kg, respectively, (a) Assuming the suit is perfectlyreflecting, determine the radiation-pressure force exertedon the astronaut by the laser beam, (b) Assuming the astronautis separated from the Shuttles center of mass by 20 m,model the Shuttle as a sphere in order to estimate the gravitationforce it exerts on the astronaut, (c) Which of the twoforces is larger, and by what factor?
