Chromatic aberration occurs for thin lenses but not for spherical mirrors because the chromatic light does not pass through mirrors but instead are reflected off the surface. Refraction is the mechanism that is responsible for chromatic aberration; and no light is refracted from spherical mirrors.

In case of the lenses, different colors that are present in white light have different refractive indices and hence after refraction, these colors split differently due to their varying wavelength.

However, in case of the mirrors only reflection takes place without any refraction.
