Lewis symbol representation of elements

It is the simplest representation of how electrons are arranged around an atom.

While writing the lewis symbol, first write the electronic configuration then write the symbol of the element at the center. Write the number of valence electrons in the form of an electron dot. Then enclose the element symbol with electron dots in a bracket and write the charge at the upper right corner.
