(a) A particle moving at constant velocity has zero
Chapter , Problem 39(choose chapter or problem)
(a) A particle moving at constant velocity has zero angular momentum about a particular point. Use the definition of angular momentum to show that under this condition the particle is moving either directly toward or directly away from the point. (b) You are a right-handed batter and let a waist-high fastball go past you without swinging. What is the direction of the balls angular momentum relative to your navel? (Assume that the ball travels in a straight, horizontal line as it passes you.)
