A 2.0-kg ball attached to a string whose length is moves counterclockwise (as viewed from above) in a horizontal circle (Figure 10-56). The string makes an angle with the vertical. (a) Determine both the horizontal and vertical components of the angular momentum of the ball about the point of support. (b) Find the magnitude of and verify that it equals the magnitude of the torque exerted by gravity about the point of support.
