Disconnect the coaxial cable from a television or other device and estimate the diameter of the inner conductor and the diameter of the shield. Assume a plausible value (see Table 24-1) for the dielectric constant of the dielectric separating the two conductors and estimate the capacitance per unit length of the cable.
