Aresistor and an inductor are connected in parallel across an ideal ac voltage source whose output is given by as shown in Figure 29-32. Show that (a) the current in the resistor is given by (b) the current in the inductor is given by and (c) the current in the voltage source is given by I _ I where Ipeak _ Epeak>Z.
