Solved: The wave function for the state of the harmonic

Chapter , Problem 35

(choose chapter or problem)

The wave function for the state n = 2 of the harmonic oscillator is \(\psi_{2}(x)=A_{2}\left(2 a x^{2}-\frac{1}{2}\right) e^{-a x^{2}}\), where \(a=\frac{1}{2} m \omega_{0} / \hbar\). Determine the normalization constant \(A_2\).
