Exploring Psychrometric PrinciplesAir enters a compressor

Chapter 12, Problem 66P

(choose chapter or problem)

Air enters a compressor operating at steady state at \(50^{\circ} \mathrm{C}\), 0.9 bar, 70% relative humidity with a volumetric flow rate of 0.8 \(\mathrm{m}^{3} / \mathrm{s}\). The moist air exits the compressor at \(195^{\circ} \mathrm{C}\), 1.5 bar. Assuming the compressor is well insulated, determine

(a) the relative humidity at the exit.

(b) the power input, in kW.

(c) the rate of entropy production, in kW/K.
