Working with the Equilibrium ConstantIn Table A-27, log10K

Chapter 14, Problem 6P

(choose chapter or problem)

In Table A-27, \(\log _{10} K\) is nearly linear in \(1 / T: \log _{10} K=C_{1}+C_{2} / T\), where \(C_{1}\) and \(C_{2}\) are constants. For selected reactions listed in the table

(a) verify this by plotting \(\(\log _{10} K\)\) versus 1/T for temperature ranging from 2100 to 2500 K.

(b) evaluate \(\(C_{1}\)\) and \(\(C_{2}\)\) for any pair of adjacent table entries in the temperature range of part (a).
