As you are sitting and reading, the object which you are reading is at rest with respect to you.
There are other objects which are moving and according to them you are at certain velocity.
With respect to every moving observer you have some different velocity which is relative.
Everything in the universe is moving at certain velocity so, you cannot conclude that you are at rest.
Absolute motion and rest are myths and have no significance in science. Velocity is relative.
