Compare the pressure exertedby the tires of your car on the roadwith the air pressure in the tires.For this project, find the weightof your car from the Internet,and then divide it by 4 to get theapproximate weight held up by one tire. You can approximatethe area of tire contact with the road by tracing the edges oftire contact on a sheet of paper marked with 1-inch * 1-inchsquares beneath the tire. After you get the pressure of the tireon the road, compare it with the air pressure in the tire. Arethey nearly equal? Which one is greater?
