You ordinarily pour waterfrom a full glass into an emptyglass simply by placing the fullglass above the empty glass andtipping. Have you ever pouredair from one glass to another?The procedure is similar. Lowertwo glasses in water, mouthsdownward. Let one fill withwater by tilting its mouth upward. Then hold the mouth ofthe water-filled glass downward above the air-filled glass.Slowly tilt the lower glass and let the air escape, filling theupper glass. You are pouring air from one glass into another!
