Suppose that the experimenter wishes to use values A =25 and B =20 for the population standard deviations. (a) What is the exact p-value for the hypothesis testing problem H0 : A = B +3.0 versus HA : A = B +3.0? (b) Construct a 90% two-sided condence interval for A B.
