Chapter 11, Problem 11.1.7

(choose chapter or problem)

A balanced experimental design has a sample size of n =14 observations at each of k =4 factor levels. The averages and variance estimates at each of the four factor levels are x1 =0.705 and s2 1 =0.766103, x2 =0.715 and s2 2 =1.276103, x3 =0.684 and s2 3 =2.608103, and x4 =0.692 and s2 4 =1.725103. Compute the analysis of variance table. What is the p-value?
