The eight blood types discussed in the Blitzer Bonus on page 91 are shown once again in the Venn diagram. In blood transfusions, the set of antigens in a donor’s blood must be a subset of the set of antigens in a recipient’s blood. Thus, the recipient must have all or more of the antigens present in the donor’s blood. Use this information to solve Exercises 113–116.
