Chapter 4, Problem 45

(choose chapter or problem)

Consider the vector spaces

\(P_{0}, P_{1}, P_{2}, \ldots, P_{n}\)

where \(P_{k}\) is the set of all polynomials of degree less than or equal to k, with the standard operations. Show that if j  k, then \(P_{j}\) is a subspace of \(P_{k}\).
