The rod assembly is supported at G by a ball-and-socket joint. Each segment has a mass of 0.5 kg/m. If the assembly is originally at rest and an impulse of \(I=\{-\mathbf{8 k}\} \ \mathrm{N} \cdot \mathrm{s}\) is applied at D, determine the angular velocity of the assembly just after the impact.
