The radius of gyration about an axis passing through the axis of symmetry of the 1.2-Mg

Chapter 21, Problem 21-78

(choose chapter or problem)

The radius of gyration about an axis passing through the axis of symmetry of the 1.2-Mg satellite is \(k_{z} = 1.4 \ m\), and about any transverse axis passing through the center of mass G, \(k_{t} = 2.20 \ m\). If the satellite has a known spin of 2700 rev/h about the z axis, determine the steady-state precession about the z axis.
