Suppose that is an eigenvalue of A, and x is its eigenvector: Ax = x. (a) Show that this same x is an eigenvector of B = A7I, and find the eigenvalue. This should confirm Exercise 3. (b) Assuming 6= 0, show that x is also an eigenvector of A 1and find the eigenvalue.
