The positions of a planet that are closest to and farthest from the Sun are called its perihelion and aphelion, respectively. Use Exercise 25(a) to show that theperihelion distance from a planet to the Sun is andthe aphelion distance is .(b) Use the data of Exercise 25(b) to find the distances fromEarth to the Sun at perihelion and at aphelion.
