Paraboloid Problem: A paraboloid is formed by rotating about the y-axis the graph of y = 0.5x2 from x = 0 to x = 3. a. Write an integral for the area of the paraboloid. Evaluate it numerically. b. Show that your answer is reasonable by comparing it with suitable geometric figures. c. The indefinite integral in part a is relatively easy to evaluate. Do so, and thus find the exact area. Show that your answer in part a is close to the exact answer.
