Average Velocity for Constant Acceleration Problem: Prove that if an object moves

Chapter 10, Problem 13

(choose chapter or problem)

Average Velocity for Constant Acceleration Problem: Prove that if an object moves withconstant acceleration a, such as it does in idealfree fall, then its average velocity over a timeinterval is the average of the velocities at thebeginning and end of the interval. (This resultleads to one of the physics formulas you mayhave learned and that may have led you to afalse conclusion about average velocity whenthe acceleration is not constant.)
