a). To find the probability that no one enters between 12:00 and 12:05.

     

     The probability that no one enters between 5 minutes.

        Then, the number of people during a 5 minutes interval = 2.5

          So,

      Therefore,

               P(nobody enters) =    

                                                                 

          Therefore the probability that nobody enters = 0.0821.
