Chapter 9, Problem 5

(choose chapter or problem)

You go to construct the circuit in Exercise 1, only to find no \(1\ k \Omega\) resistors. In fact, all you are able to locate in addition to the capacitor and inductor is a 1 meter long piece of 24 AWG soft solid copper wire. Connecting it in parallel to the two components you did find, compute the value of \(\alpha\), \(\omega_0\), \(s_1\), and \(s_2\), and verify that the circuit is still overdamped.
