A 27-tooth helical gear with c = 25 has a 20 pressure angle in the plane of rota-tion

Chapter 16, Problem 16.3

(choose chapter or problem)

A 27-tooth helical gear with \(\psi\) = \(25^{\circ}\) has a \(20^{\circ}\) pressure angle in the plane of rotation. What is the pressure angle in the normal plane, \(\phi_n\), and the equivalent number of teeth, \(N_e\)? What pressure angle and number of teeth would a straight spur gear tooth of comparable bending strength have?
