A capstan winch incorporates a pair of spur gears with 20 and 60 teeth, b = 50 mm, and m = 4.0 mm. In order to provide quieter operation, these are to be replaced by helical gears. For reasons of strength, it is desired to use gears with m = 4.0 mm in the normal plane. Determine a suitable combination of numbers of teeth and helix angle.
