Acidic protons are determined from the elemental effects. If a proton is attached to the more electronegative, the proton is said to be more acidic in nature. Since, electronegativity increases along a period, therefore, acidity increases along a period.

In the above compound, protons are attached to the three elements, carbon, nitrogen and

oxygen. These three elements lie across the second period of the periodic table. Since, acidity increases along the period of the periodic table. Therefore, the proton attached to the oxygen atom is most acidic than remaining, after that hydrogen attached to nitrogen is second acidic hydrogen in the molecule.
