Consider the integral \(\int_{ }^{ }\sin x\cos x\ dx\).

(a) Evaluate the integral two ways: first using integration by parts, and then using the substitution \(u=\sin x\).

(b) Show that the results of part (a) are equivalent.

(c) Which of the two methods do you prefer? Discuss the reasons for your preference.
