Using a 3-V power supply, design a version of the circuit of Fig. 7.54 to provide a dc emitter current of 0.5 mA and to allow a 1-V signal swing at the collector. The BJT has a nominal =100. Use standard 5% resistor values (see Appendix J). If the actual BJT used has =50, what emitter current is obtained? Also, what is the allowable signal swing at the collector? Repeat for =150.
